Martin is the Lead Technical Architect within Redland and responsible for the technical architecture and our technology path. Martin began his lifelong career in software development in the early 80’s, and after qualifying with a HND in computing, wrote and developed software within the automotive industry.
He has been responsible for the development of a number of key areas of our software platform and ensures that our technology continues to evolve and take advantage of best practice and new emerging capability. Martin has responsibility for our technical architecture across our development team and is perceptive at all points within the product development lifecycle and continues to have an active part in the development of our software propositions.
Adept at providing support and assurance, Martin is the “go to” competent problem solver and is confidently able to communicate effectively with clients and his colleagues at all levels.
Martin is a family man of four children and enjoys walking with friends and family, he runs a community based Raspberry Pi programming group helping young students develop software skills. Also being a genuine developer at heart Martin is currently building a life size working R2D2 model.
